Plain Sponge Cake


  • INGREDIENTS:


  • 4oz/100g self-raising flour
  • 4oz/100g sugar (normal should be fine)
  • 4oz/100g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • Or
  • 4oz/100g plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4oz/100g sugar (normal should be fine)
  • 4oz/100g butter
  • 2 eggs

METHOD:


Whisk the butter and sugar.
Add the eggs then flour.
Mix to get a creamy batter.

Put it in a cake tin with baking paper.

Put it in the oven for 18-20 minutes on 200'c or more.
